What is 404 error in webmaster tool? How to solve it? Please guide me.

404 is a standard response code that tells that a requested page is not found.

404 error is page not found error. To resolve this error, either you can make that page or you can redirect that url to home page or related page.

404 error is returned by a web server when it not find the page of you have request. most likely cause of this error is a mistyped URL.

The HTTP 404 Not Found Error means that the webpage you were trying to reach could not be found on the server.this error is generated by the server.It is a Client-side Error which means that either the page has been removed and the URL was not changed accordingly.
There are some simple tips you can try to solve this problem:
