I understand that Google gives you points for having video on your website. I just added two videos, they are both hosted on YouTube. Do these count or do they need to be uploaded on my site to receive points from Google?

You want to leave them on youtube and have the link pointing back to your site. You can also embed the video in your site as well. You tube is a no follow site but I still think it counts toward SEO. See this thread for more info: https://www.affilorama.com/blog/video-seo-are-you-surfin-the-tube
