SEO Quake - what do all these buttons mean?

Dear Mark

As instructed in last week's video on your newsletter, I've subscribed to SEO quake.
But what do all these buttons mean and does it matter?
I do understand PR and links,but that's about it.
Where do I go to find out please?

 If you go to www.seoquake.com and then click on the 2nd tab entitled Guide, there is a 10 page guide. Also they have a blog that gives some other information. Hope this helps. Mainly if you look at what Mark mentions in the video lessons, you should be fine.

 What video lesson is this in ? I have the Affilio Jet Pack and dont remember there bieng anything about it in there.

I am using SEO Quake to determine competition.

I am unsure of the number of backlinks that is ok or too much in reguards to competition. Could you please give me a range of what that would be ?

Also, I am not sure what to look at in SEO Quake for the number of links. Would that be I, L, LD, Alexa Rank or SemRush Rank ?

Hi Linda,

You do not need to look at the number of backlinks to determine the competition. What you need to be looking at is the PR, Rank and Age for each site.

The backlinks information is useful if you want to check out where your competitor's backlinks are coming from and you may also get these backlinks for your website.

You may get the site's backlinks by clicking SEMrush links.

 When I talk about backlinks to look for competition I am talking about looking at whether or not there is too many backlinks to rank for a keyword. I cannot rank for a keyword if there is too many backlinks.
Do you know what range of backlinks is beatable and what is not.

 I did not see the next to last reply for this post and posted another question somewhere for it. I did it within the past 30 min if you want to search for it.

I am not sure of which ticket you answered this in so I have to ask this here.

Is PR different from Rank ? If so how is it different ? And What is Rank ? Is it Google. Semrush ...
What rank can I not beat, and how old of a site is too difficult to beat ?
