RIP Page Rank

Hi affiloramas, Google will remove PageRank scores from the public view in the coming weeks. how does it will affect business ?

 The page rank scores have never been updated since 2013. So with Google totally removing this data from the web is not really new. Most SEOs no longer depend on page ranks, especially when link spamming is no longer as effective as it was before.

 Pagerank is alive and well and will always be used as one of the most critical factors attributing to a domain’s ability to rank. What most Seo practitioners don’t understand is that there are two types of Pagerank. The propaganda being spouted everywhere that Pagerank is dead, is misleading on one hand, and true on the other.

 PageRank measures the importance of a website, it is updated on a regular basis, we don't see these results though because the PR Toolbar is not updated any more.

 The question here is this: as page rank is being phased out gradually, what other metrics can one use to measure the progress of his website as long as SEO is concerned?.

You can track other factors on your website like page authority, domain authority, keyword ranking, and the number of traffic to your website. You can track these factors using SEO tools like Traffic Travis and Affilorama. For domain authority and page authority, you can use Moz tools to track your DA and PA.

 Page rank simply defines the importance and popularity of the page in Goole.Not all businesses depend on the page rank ability. Nowadays every SEO business depends on the DA and PA of the websites.
