relation between alexa rank and page rank

Is there any relation between alexa rank and page rank?

 I don't think alexa rank has anything to do with page rank. From what I know alexa has something installed on the users computer and tracks what they look at so it is probably not tracking a large portion of people looking at any site because most people don't have the alexa stuff on there computer, I know I don't.

 I agree with you mark, Google use his own tools like Google Analytics to track the traffic, they don't use Alexa data.

 No, there is no relation between alexa rank and page rank of website. Alexa rank is judges in terms of traffic volume of the website and page rank has different factors like backlinks from authority websites, quality content, properly optimized and overall web presence.

 Google doesn't use Alexa rank as a factor when measuring a site's page rank or authority value. You can more easily understand these two by looking at the difference. Alexa rank is based on traffic, which can come from any source, even artificial such as traffic exchanges. While Google page rank is assigned by Google based on a site's credibility, usefulness to it's users and number/quality of backlinks pointing at the site. If it were me, I would want higher page rank than Alexa rank.

 Google Page-rank is a rank given by Google according to your website's reputation in search engine, you can also say it as a popularity measurement tool while Alexa rates each and every website in an order towards traffic for that particular website.
