Is Google Keyword Planner working properly?

Does anyone notice that Google Keyword planner is not working?

 Thanks for your swift response. When I was using it for keyword research, it was showing keyword's competition and searches like 100 - 1000k instead of giving an exact figure.

 Hi John,

Google changed the way the tool works. Apparently, they already set limits to the data you get from GKP tool. With this change, the tool has become less useful for SEO research and more useful for ad campaigns.  Yes google has changed its criteria but, unfortunately this is not right which google is doing from now. Before this it has encrypted the data and not showing the separate searches for mobile and now this..

 Hey,
Google Keyword Planner is working fine, there is no issue with it. But there are some new changes has been done by the Google itself.

 Hey Guys, recently google has made a big change in Keyword planner tool. Now no one can see the exact number of searches for a particular keyword. This is really frustrating for all bloggers, webmasters and internet marketers.

 I don't think it has worked properly for years. I have done keyword research many times where is says a keyword has zero searches but when I look at my google analytic s information is may say there were 10 searched under the keywords in the reach says there are none. I find that Google isn't very accurate when the searches are under 1000 a day.

 Why is it working fine for some people here and not fine for others like me?

For me it says stuff like this for the average monthly searches:
10K – 100K
100 – 1K

What the heck is that? I guess the google keyword planner is now useless. Is there another free keyword search tool out there?

 I checked keyword planner, it's working properly. However, I'm experiencing another kind of issue with it which is a little bit awkward: I can't download export anything to excel unless I use other browser than... Chrome Smiley Happy That is, every time I know I'll need to download ideas, I turn on my slow Internet Explorer and use it for downloading the ideas.

I am not a fan of IE. I only use Chrome and Firefox especially when doing SEO and marketing. If you can download the keywords in Chrome, you may want to just use Chrome instead of IE when using the Google Keyword tool.
