There are really many different metrics that can serve this purpose and you should actually monitor more of them at once to get the most accurate results. You can first focus on monthly traffic that your receive, the number of clicks that you generate on some CTA buttons, the bounce rate that you have on many different pages on the site, the number the organic traffic you are receiving regularly, and so on. There are many parameters indeed but I would start from these ones first.

Measuring SEO success is quite an easy thing actually. At least I have never faced any difficulties to measure the results of my SEO campaign.

Yeah, maybe you might be afraid of checking hundreds of metrics which help you to determine whether SEO was successful or not. The main are: Organic traffic, Keyword ranking, SERP visibility, Click-through rate and Bounce rate.

Organic helps you to determine the amount of daily/monthly attendances of your website. Keyword ranking - is just a measure which helps you to understand whether the keywords (phrases and words) affect the appearance of your website in Google. SERP - just a measure how much people see your website in search engine. Click through and bounce rates help you to measure how much users clicked on your website in search engine and what percentage of them left your website without any interaction accordingly.

I think that the main indicator of success of SEO is conversion. It is very important to see how many people took the target action.
I'm not just talking about the position in a Google search or the number of visits to the site.
I mean how fast the target audience finds your site and does the targeted action:
- Gives contacts;
- Makes a purchase.

Measuring SEO success can be tricky, because there are so many factors that contribute to a website's ranking in search engine results pages (SERPs). Here are some tips for measuring the effectiveness of your SEO efforts:

1. Use web analytics tools to track organic traffic.
2. Use keyword tracking tools to measure the progress of your target keywords.
3. Compare your website's position in SERPs before and after you've implemented SEO changes.
4. Monitor the number of backlinks and referring domains to your website.
5. Analyse your website's click-through rate (CTR) and dwell time in SERPs.
