High Page Rank But Still No Traffic

Hi,

Yes, it's possible that you rank high, even get top 1 rank, for your target keyword but still not get so much traffic on that page. It all boils down to the keyword you're targeting. If you're targeting a keyword will a global monthly search of 150, then you would more or less get about 5 or so people on your page each day. As compared to a keyword that has a global monthly search of 1000 which could get you roughly 30 people, give or take, on your site daily.

This is why we recommend in Affiloblueprint that your target keywords should have no less than 250 global monthly searches. It would also be good if you mix these keywords up with keywords that may have tougher competition but have higher monthly searches too.

Hi Wenny,

You make it sound so easy... but getting traffic is not as easy as you seem to make it. The saying "you get what you pay for" applies here. If you're getting traffic at such a cheap rate, then that traffic's not targeted. It's like sending a bunch of people interested in dinosaurs to a website about taking care of plants. You're not likely to get a sale from that traffic, so in the end a complete waste of money.
