Hi Jad,

The difference is on the theme you are using. The theme should be responsive or mobile-friendly. Affilotheme is now responsive (more details here: website-building/is-affilotheme-responsive-now-t28034.html). You can test your Affilotheme website if it is mobile-friendly at this link here: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools ... -friendly/

Yes that is correct. It is now required in (Google) SE ranking to have a mobile-friendly layout/interface.

There are a couple of key differences between mobile and desktop SEO. On the technical side you need to make sure that your mobile optimized site is crawlable by Googlebot-Mobile, and that if you have redirects in place that they are configured correctly and don't drop the searcher somewhere irrelevant like a homepage. Also for mobile pages with a desktop counterpart you should set rel=alternate/canonical tags accordingly to preserve link equity. Google recommends responsive design because it eliminates a lot of these issues.

As far as content and keyword research, you may find that user intent and behavior differs depending on your site goals. You can segment your webmaster tools and Keyword Planner reports by device - check to see if there are differences in dominant queries. Often mobile searchers will be looking for stuff like contact info, locations, or apps so give them what they want. Optimize for the most relevant user experience given the context.
