In AB lesson 6.2, Mark suggests submitting articles to various article directories (ezinearticles etc) to start building backlinks.
Should I go ahead and do this when according to Google Webmaster tools, my site's not yet been indexed?
Thanks
Mike

Why not? When google follows the link from the artical it will find your site and get you index faster.
Did you ping your site?

Actually, I didn't ping it.
And I did see the new ping functionality in the permium area. I'm gonna give it a try. Thanks for your response.
I think I need more coffee.
Cheers

Great advice their from JC. Ping your site and submit to Ezine. You'll find that Ezine can take a few days at least to get the article posted, and as JC points out at the very least Google will index it then.
Keep us posted,
Jason
