How Can I Add an XML Sitemap to My WordPress Site?

You can generate an XML sitemap for your WordPress site by using the WordPress plugin Google XML Sitemaps.

To install Google XML Sitemaps and generate an XML sitemap for your WordPress site:

1. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.

2. Click on Plugins and then select Add New.

3.  On the Install Plugins screen, under the Search tab, enter Google XML Sitemaps into the Search field, and click Search Plugins.

4. On the Search Results page, look for Google XML Sitemaps and then click Install Now just below it.

  5.    After the plugin has been successfully installed, activate it by clicking Activate Plugin.

   6.  Go to the Google XML Sitemaps settings page by clicking Settings and then XML-Sitemap.

8. On the Google XML Sitemaps settings page, you can click on the "your sitemap" link to notify search engines about your sitemap.
