Submitting Articles

I have 19 keyword related articles on my website. When I start submitting articles to the directories do I need 1 article for each keyword. in other words do I need 19 articles and do I submit all articles to the 1 directory. I do not want to spin articles.

 Hi Andrew,

You would essentially be submitting articles for each target keyword so that is 1 submission per article on your site. That can be overwhelming so I suggest you pick the target keywords you want to rank for first, like maybe 5 or 10, then build links to those first before moving on to building links to the rest.

 Also pick the popular directories that rank high on Google much to your advantage in the long run

 You get backlinks to your site by submitting articles to article directories. It can be viral IF other webmasters or bloggers republish you articles WITH your links in them. Backlinks can get your site up search engine rankings.

The problem with article directories is that there is no way they can check if your links get republished.

Hi Andrew,

You can use 2-3 keywords (to anchor text) when submitting articles to article directory sites as most of these sites allow 2 or 3 anchor text links . BUT make sure that you read their guidelines first so you know how many keywords are allowed and where they can be inserted (some sites allow anchor text within the content while some sites only allow links in the author box).

So to make things easier for you, I suggest you use, 2 or 3 (synonymous) keywords in one content. And yes all content should be original. If you do not want to spin, you can just rewrite each. :)

 I have had my first two articles accepted by Ezine articles. Now, it might not seem a milestone to many, but to for me - it's FANTASTIC. I found the whole process quite simple, and if you follow their step by step processes and editorial guidelines, you should not have any problems. I really nice touch is that you get awarded badges by them every time you complete a stage, whether its uploading a photo of yourself, linking a twitter account, facebook page etc. it's nice to see those badges flashing when you log in. Keep doing your best everyone!
