Site Indexing through Google?

Hi there, i am new and i was wondering about site indexing on google through other pages linking to your site.

Im finding it hard to find websites to link to my site, and was wondering, does putting links in forums work for when google does a webcrawl?

if so, then: http://www.asiaexplored.com

if not, then can you give me any tips?
I can spend a little money, but not too much at this stage as i am only in week one.

 Since this is a private forum, google won't be able to find it.

But if google did crawl it, then your site would be picked up.

To get indexed quickly, either go comment on a blog with an intelligent comment or perhaps write and submit an article to ezine articles.

 What about posting a comment on a youtube video, do you think that would get my site indexed?
