No traffic... what's missing?

Hi, I have created and published my first micro-niche site about 4 weeks ago. Until now - no traffic at all.
It has 7 pages and 3 blog posts.
From an onsite SEO perspective (based on YOAST and other tools) - all pages are good, only very few minor comments here and there.
What's next? offsite SEO? backlinks? any other idea?

You won't get any traffic (yet) unless you start promoting your website. So yes, start building backlinks and do social media marketing to drive traffic to your website. Once you have good traffic coming in, then expect clicks-thrus and (possible) sales on your site.

Thanks a lot,
Regarding backlinks - and based on the fact it's a new micro niche website without a lot of content (yet) - what would you suggest? which strategy should I pick? the more I read about it in SEO blogs the more I get confused...

You need to optimize your website for SEO (onsite SEO). Post new and fresh content often. Backed your onsite SEO efforts with offsite SEO strategies. Focus only in white hat techniques. :)

The easiest way to get backlinks is to create some content that other people will want to share.

Make something awesome, and then tell people about it. If it's awesome enough, they'll tell other people about it and link to you.

In theory it's not that difficult, but in practice it can be hard to come up with ideas for content, and then it can be tricky to get that stuff created — especially if you're not an expert on your topic yourself.

We've actually got a new guide on this topic coming out pretty soon. It shows you how to design and create a content site that is easy to build links to, and also works really well at making sales.

Of course.

There will always be people who aren't going to like or understand your stuff. You're not going to get 100% of your visitors sharing and linking to your page.

But the goal is to make your material remarkable enough that at least SOME of your visitors will find it worth sharing with other people.

How do you know when your stuff is "awesome enough"?

You don't, because it *is* totally subjective. What YOU think is awesome might not be what OTHER people think is awesome. (Or on the other hand, you might think you've made something that isn't that great, but other people might think it's the bee's knees.)

You can take an educated guess (by looking at stuff people are already sharing, by asking your audience what they want, etc) but the only way you really know is to pitch it out there into the internet and see if it flies.

Hi there! I suppose you have to integrate a marketing strategy that will effectively draw traffic into your site. Like using an offerwall tool for instance. I love this tools since it allows me to advertise offers from my affiliate partner while customers are willing to participate in these offers in exchange for rewards...:)

Hope this helps!:)

Very good that you made use of yoast SEO and other SEO tools to make sure your on-page SEO is good,.all you need is to do off-page SEO like creating backlinks, article submission, social network marketing etc, but note that most of your off-page SEO must be done MANUALLY. minimize the use of any software tools to do your SEO work.

You need to perform the Off-page SEO task on a regular basis. If you want huge traffic towards your site, you need to mainly focus on promoting it on Social Media platform like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. Almost million of the customer using these platforms. So promoting your site on social media sites is the best way to get huge traffic.

Great topic.
I as well have something to say about this from my little research combining with my knowledge and considerstion.

To get traffic:
-Just get invold to write good content (or outsource). This can be money and time consuming but it's worth once it's done.
It's good to have at least 200 handred articles( 100 informative articles at least 1000 words each, and 100 article reviews to get profit from if you are an affiliate) with 200 low competition keywords(30 or less KC).

-At least 100 manual backlinks from authority sites. It's good enough once your website has already been there for a while.
-Get involved to guest post(have at least 10 or more guest post linking back to your website).

-The look and the feel of your website dictates also in many cases your success.
I suggest if you are in amazon affiliates you should choose to use the theme you will find from authorityazon.com,but if you are in other affiliate progrsms you can find a theme that will make you incredible from trivetheme.com (I believe or of those themes are highly focused on the success of a website).

If you can efford to do this mentioned above, you are ready to go and theiritically succeed.

I should mention again that all of this combined should be used on only one niche,
meaning one website
but you do not have to do it all at once.

-Another thing you should do if you have time is to always pick other people's brain and only spend money buying something that is worth it.

Thank you,and I look forward to your success.
