How to Update IMAP Settings on Outlook?

Launch the Outlook application on your computer.
Go to Account Settings:
Click on File in the top-left corner.
Select Account Settings, and then choose Account Settings from the dropdown list.
In the Email tab, select the email account you want to update.
Update IMAP Settings:
Under Server Information, ensure the following settings are correct:
Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): imap-mail.outlook.com
Port: 993
Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
Make any necessary adjustments to your server settings and then click Next.
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) Settings:
Update the outgoing server settings to:
Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp-mail.outlook.com
Port: 587
Encryption Method: STARTTLS
Ensure that Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) is checked.
Click Next to test the settings, and if successful, click Finish.
