 Hi,
A robots.txt file lives at the root of your site. So, the robots.txt file lives at robots.txt is a plain text file that follows the Robots Exclusion Standard. A robots.txt file consists of one or more rules. Each rule blocks (or-or allows) access for a given crawler to a specified file path in that website.

A robots.txt file resides at the origin of one's website. Therefore, the robots.txt file resides at robots.txt can be a plain text file which follows the Robots Exclusion Standard. A robots.txt file includes a couple of rules. Each principle cubes (or-or allows) access for any particular crawler to some predetermined file path for the reason the site.

To Block specific folder file

User-agent: Googlebot

 Using robots.txt file you can easily eliminate a URL from being indexed in search engine search results.

Block your entire website from crawling:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /

Block particular files from crawling:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /example1.html
Disallow: /example2.html

Block particular folders from crawling:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /folder1/
Disallow: /folder2/

 You can block a particular folder by using
user-agent:*
Disallow: /folder
Mention folder name in the place of disallow:/[*******]
