 302 status code does not hurt seo it is search engine friendly way of redirecting the web page.

 Honestly I have heard such things only about 301 redirects. I have no full information how 302 redirects works with all this SEO things. But I can show something like that here really - *moderator removed link* Go figure for yourself.

 Use a 302 redirect only if you want to temporarily redirect a URL. In most cases, SEO specialists don't use 302 redirects when fixing the on-site qualities of a website.

 302 Found redirect status response code indicates that the resource requested has been temporarily moved to the URL given by the Location header.

 Not actually, I don't think 302 hurts but as it indicates temporarily move, you should make sure to use 301 if your URL moved permanently.

 As I don't know much about 302 but I heard it does not affect your SEO as it indicates only redirect webpage.

 It is just a temporary redirection and it won't hurt SEO, send traffic from old web page to new web page
