Need help regarding domain names for CPA

I have been trying to do some CPA offers, but am finding the CPC prices too high.
I have been direct linking, using the content network, or facebook and myspace.

I spoke to an affiliate manager and he suggested I make my own landing pages to get my
cpc down. I have also seen that some of the CPA offers require you to send people via
your own landing pages.

I am not sure what to do with this. I don't want to go buy a domain name for every
CPA offer that I might want to try, nor do I really want to build a landing page. In my opinion,
their landing page would be more professional than what I could put together.

If I do decide to create landing pages for higher paying offers,
can I just buy some generic domain name and then
have various landing pages off it? For example, http://www.abc.com

Then have a irrelevant landing pages off that, such as

http://www.abc.com/dating
http://www.abc.com/freetrialoffers
http://www.abc.com/downloadablegames

(not exact names, but I hope you get my drift)

I ran this by the affiliate manager and he said that would work if I mask my url.

I'm not sure if I can do this with google, and am looking for some advice and direction on this.

I think there's 2 questions in there somewhere!

Thanks much
Stacie

Hey Stacierunner

I would recomand you to buy your own domain , especialy if you are doing PPC marketing (SEM) . You will have 3 big advantage :

1. Google will display your AD more often
2. You can do a landing page much better then the merchant
3. Will rise your CTR. (When i want to test an offer usually i make at least 5-7 keyword groups and i usually buy a domain with the main keyword in it for each group )

However if you are not feeling that you can do your own Webpage , and you want to qucickly test an offer , you just need an Iframe.
Google "How to make an HTML Iframe" or just contact the affiliate manager. You just have to copy paste a small code and you will have the same webpage like the seller.

Let me know if i can further help you .
Good luck,
