Does It Really Matter When You Post Blog post

Hi
Does it really matter what day of the week or time of day that you publish a blog post?

If you are talking about publishing a post on your website, it does not matter. You can schedule your post anytime you wish.

Publishing on social media, however, can be different. Timing is important. You can experiment which time or day is best to post your content.

I think it is better to post on Monday and Wednesday. Some people post on Friday, but I am not sure that it is a good idea.

I think the most important thing is that you are consistent with posting. Make a goal of two blog posts per week and stick to it. I struggled with this for a while but now am very consistent about it.

It doesn't matter when you post. But what matters is the time gap you are choosing between them. It has to be the same most at the time.

See, you can post once a week or once a month. Or, even you can post every day. You just have to be consistent and fixed to your schedule.

As mary said, on your own site it may not matter. However, when sending email newsletters or making social media psots, research has shown, timing DOES matter.

However, yo may not know when the best time for your customers/clients will be without experiementing a little and figuring it out over a period of time.

There are many factors to consider, including public holidays and timezones (what country your customers are located, for example). Generally, for reaching corporate clients and office inboxes, between 9am-11am is peak time for when people are checking their emails and messages - but for consumer facing businesses it may be better to broadcast in the evenings, after 6pm when they're back from work.

Only experiementing will let you know for sure

I did some research myself with the timing of posts. I had better post engagement when I made a post during lunch time Monday - Friday. People tend to use smartphones and scroll down Facebook while eating.

Try it :)

Best time for posting is a start, lunch break and the end of the workday of your community.

Good noticed!

I think, most depends on what one posts, the subject of the posts.
If you write about some scientific issue, I don't think timing matters.
If you are selling, timing matters.
If you are going emotional, on the weekend people have more time to get sentimental. During the week they are too busy for that

I believe the issue that is important is that you're consistent with submitting. Create a goal of 2 posts each week and adhere with it. I fought with this for a little while but am quite consistent with this.

The time you submit to a blog doesn't really matter. But if you're synchronizing your blog posts as social media shares, you should probably post at social media optimal times.

Check out this optimal social media optimal posting times research on Sprout Social: https://sproutsocial.com/insights/best- ... ial-media/

Hope that helps

It does not matter for blog post. Sharing the blog post on social media is different thing where time does matter.
