What are your thoughts on using a product as a domain name?

Good evening ABer's,

What are your thoughts on a domain name with a clickbank product name in it with 'review' at the end? I'm curious if it matters or not.

Hi Stephen,

My 2 cents:

Such a domain will limit your site to promoting only that product.

It could be a violation of trademark law, so check with the merchant if you can use their product name in your domain before you proceed with registration.

It would be best not use a product name in your domain.

Product names are mostly copyrighted/trademarked. You might have copyright/trademark complaints which will result in the suspension of the site you have worked hard for.

Hi,

I believe the link below will give you some ideas on what happens when someone tries to use a product or a brand name on their domain name.
