Hi, when I reply to comments on my blog posts it only shows my reply on the published post and says ping back, how can I rectify this?

A pingback occurs when one site links to another and the other site goes back to the site linking to it. Are those comments on your site or on another site? If it's on another site and you'e linking back to your site through those comments, then you will get pingback from the site you're leaving the comments on. This occurs if the site has a pingback or trackback plugin or add-on.

Hi heavy_break_downs,
The pingback you see on your site is a notification that another site has linked to your post. There is no need to reply to them. Instead, check on the site and make sure that they are valid and not spammy. If you look at the two pingbacks on the page you referred me to, the two sites are no longer available. I suggest you delete these pingbacks instead.
