Website content just simple vanished ?

hi fellow members i went to edit one of my pages last night on my word press panel then i was presented with a database error.. i tried and tried again and again, i went back into my affilorama hosting panel to try and access it from there.. i managed to finally get in , i came to my word press dashboard to find all my pages posts and everything had been wiped I'm so devastated , I don't no what to do, I didn't even get a chance to back it up , is there anything i can do?..

Also I've just found out i can't even publish a new post ... is this an error with the affliorama hosting or WordPress error.

 I had this happen before but the content reappeared in a day or two. It could be a glitch in your hosting account or it could be a plugin that needs updating. I think my posts got screwed up using SEOQuake or whatever the hell the other one was.

I wouldn't be too concerned unless it's not showing up in a couple of days. You need to get the free backup plugin just in case something like this happens. They will email you a database backup file for any time period you wish. I usually get a backup sent 1 time a week and then I'll delete the previous backup.

 Ouch. Did they show up again?

I always write my posts using a text editor on my computer. I then upload them into WordPress. Then if anything happens, I'll at least have my text that I can upload again.

 Thanks for your input guys,sorry for the late response been head down with my oterh website... and sadly no...nothing has re appeared, so I switched back to making my golf tips site before I lost all hope and motivation to affiliate market for good, it's my way of getting getting back on the horse and coping with it haha,....

Also, i might as well write it in this post rather then starting a new one but i had an html error code come up at the top of my page on my golfing site saying this ...

Then when i proceeded to go into my appearance settings it tells me that a theme named TWENTYTEN is broken and missing a style sheet?...TWENTYTEN ? I don't ever remember such a thing and considering I've only installed the affilotheme WordPress theme provided with my jet pack ..? any clues ? is this something to worry about?

 The "Twenty Ten" WordPress theme is a default theme which comes with WordPress. Many WordPress users never install custom themes and only use the ones that come with.

If that theme is not active, I don't see how it would cause errors. Make sure you're not using it. You should also be able to delete it. If nothing else, you can FTP into the "themes" folder and delete it's own theme folder from there.

 Ok thanks dude, yeah its tells me my current theme is affilotheme so i can't imagine I'm using the twentyten theme,i don't have an ftp client to access my themes folder as word press was already installed by the hosting provider but i'll get on that that one promptly.
