Redirect all external links thru my website

Hello,

This is my first post here, i am loving affilorama everytime i visit.

I had technical difficulty building my website.

My Requirement, (i'm using wordpress)

When i post an external link say "www.external.com".
I want it to be automatically converted to something like this
"www.mysite.com/redirect.php?www.external.com".

Later depending on which site is "external" i will append my affiliate id and redirect.

Can anyone help me with this.

 Hi preethamchandra,

You can try using a plugin like the WP Keyword Link plugin. In your posts you should create texts like www.link1.com. Once done, configure the plugin to convert ALL occurences of www.link1.com to point to [Link no longer available]. You can do the same for other links on your site.

In solution you gave, i have to do this to every link on my site.
I post 30 to 40 times a day on average.

My intention is to actually automate it, i was looking at generic solution, like editing .htaccess or something that will work for any link.

 Hi preethamchandra,

You do not have to do this to every link on your site, rather, you need to use the "generic" link you've set (as in my example: www.link1.com) on each post that you need that link on. The plugin will then automatically change the link1.com to whatever link you've set on the plugin for that link.
