Is my WordPress website setup right?

Hi!

Please, can you check my website?
I am trying to use Worpress and I don't now much about it.

I am used to urls like site.com/folder/PAGE.HTML

now it is only site.com/folder/


Why?
What about SEO?

I cannot create sitemap.


Is this ok?

 You've made a great start, it's looking good.

WordPress sites don't show the page extensions so it is perfectly normal to see mysite.com/folder and its fine for SEO as well particularly if you include your keyword in the page name when you add a new page, or blog post.

 Mark,

Does that plug in allow you to create pages and not have them published so that you can simply use them in your links rather than being public?

 Bigbe,

It looks like that plugin lets you exclude pages from your sitemap by listing their page ID #. It doesn't specifically say you can exclude posts (as opposed to pages), though I'd be surprised if that wasn't possible.
