How to Track When Visitors Leave Your Site

Hey everyone,

I wasn't really sure where to post this, but this section seemed to fit best.

I'm about to start experimenting with video marketing. What I'd like to do is be able to track at what time visitors leave my site. I'd like to set up play a video and be able to tell if a bunch of people leave the site after 3 minutes, for example, so that I know that something in the video is turning them off at the 3 minute mark.

Does anyone know how or if there is a way to do this. I have to admit that I'm a pretty rudimentary user of Google Analytics, so I don't know if it can do this. I know it will show you the average time that a visitor spends on your site, but what I'm looking for is some way to measure if X% of users leave after 1 minute, X% after 2 minutes, and so on.

Is there any way to do something like this?

 thats the problem with old members like you Clayton. always gotta find something strange to ask :D hopefully someone can answer that . it would be great to know if I am putting people to sleep. Hey, is there a snooze detector I can add to my videos?

 I believe Woopra tracks this to a certain extent. It seems to show users as 'live' until the page is closed.

 Hmmm.... I'll have to check out Woopra.

It seems that Video Salesletter Creator can track this kind of stuff too (in addition to many other things). Not sure if it's worth the cost though just for the analytics feature...

 I do not know much things about video marketing but it sounds pretty interesting to me.I want to find out some more about this.
