While manual configuration of Hotmail in Outlook, you have to set up your hotmail account using IMAP. Then import your PST file in your newly added account and wait upto the time outlook syncs the data with hotmail. Access your hotmail account in a browser and check if all the files are transferred in it.
Limitation: This process takes a lot of time.

The other way uses a PST converter tool for that. This software can export a PST file to any IMAP account. Browse the location where your PST file is saved and select the IMAP option.
