How to Change the Color of the Navigation Bar?

Could someone please tell me how to change the colour of the navigation bar in the "avenue". The bar is very dark and I would like a lighter one.

 Hi Ben,

I don't think the color of the menu bar/navigation bar can be changed for any of the child themes. You can try looking into the Affilotheme > Colors and Fonts page and see if there is an option to change the menu/nav bar.

 Yes, I looked there but it's only for the fonts etc. May have to choose another theme. Thanks anyway.

 Hey Ben,

You can actually change it if you felt like getting a little technical: The background colour is an image, located at /wp-content/themes/affilotheme_avenue/images/navigation-bg.jpg .

If you know how to FTP to your site, you can find that image and replace it with another one (named the same) in that same directory.

But that could be opening a big can of worms if you're not au fait with tweaking the gizzards of your site.

I'm sorry to hear that. As Aletta mentioned you can try editing the theme's CSS and upload a different background image.
