How Do I Remove Content Tags In Wordpress?

In my wordpress blog, I notice that whenever i add a tag, '#' shows up in my content. for example, I add the tag 'google' and everywhere that 'google' is in my content '#google' shows up. I remove it and update the blog but it keeps returning. how do i permanently remove it?​

 Hi,

This could be due to a plugin you're using. I suggest you check the Plugins page on your Wordpress Dashboard and see if any of them are adding the content tags or includes a function that adds the content tags.
