How Can I Move My Opt In Box

How can I move my opt in box?
On all my other wordpress themes, I can add an opt in box
in the side bar and drag it to the top right or left of the page
by simply dragging the widget to the desired position.

On your themes I cannot drag the box to the top
fold of the page. Not good. It would be much better
if it was in the top fold. What can I do?

I could change themes to something else. Would the affilorama
sites still work using another theme?
Or is there some way to get the box to the top fold of the page
using your theme?

hi frank. the way this theme works, all the widgets will show up after the articles. however, you can copy the form code, go to theme options>>sidebar tab

find the top custom code field and paste your opt in box code there to have it apear above the article list.

Thanks so much. It worked!

I have two more questions you many be able to help with.

1. How can I add comments?
I added a comments plugin on the blog but do not see it on my blog.
I tried several different comment plugins, they are activated and I refreshed the page.
Still no comments visible.

2. How can I summarize posts?
When I click on the home page link or a category link, the whole article
shows on the page. Every article in the category. How to I get it show just a
summary of the post? I know how to do this in wordpress but its not
working for this theme.

Thanks again,
Frank

Hi Frank! You can actually enable comments by going to Settings > Discussion and clicking 'Allow people to post comments'. If you already have existing posts, you have to edit each one by going to the discussion box for each post to allow it.

Hi Ampie,
Thanks for replying. I did all of that as I have done many times on other blogs of mine,
but there is no comments visibly on any pages of this blog.
All the individual post have comments and trackbacks allowed and the main Settings > Discussion
is allowed, still no comment box on any posts for people to add comments

if you are using the affilorama theme, it does not allow comments on your blog. these are set up to build static websites using wordpress, not really using the functions as a blog.
