Homepage, Privacy Statement and Sitemap link

Dear ABer,

I'm a newbie in internet marketing. I can't help to notice that wowblackbook.com has Homepage, Privacy Statement and Sitemap link at the bottom. Any chance this could be made available to the wordpress theme? Because I think this is very important especially for the homepage and the privacy statement.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Regards,

Martin Chandra

You need to create a privacy statement page and a disclaimer page (if you like) just like a regular page. Then go to website editor in appearance tab and add the html code of the links of the above pages in the footer.php. Same goes with your homepage.

Thanks - great info! Editting the page footer.php file did the trick. I have a Privacy Policy and Terms of Use now.

I'm still a little confused about how to create a sitemap page for wordpress. Creating the link will be no problem anymore but can anyone help me out with building a sitemap page using the Aff WP theme?

Thanks!

Hi jrsmoke

Here are two plugins you can use.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/rea ... e-sitemap/ as it says really simple.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sitemap-generator/ is a bit more involved in setting it up but still quite easy to use.

Thanks! Adding Really simple did the trick.

I thought I was missing something. I am using the Google XML sitemap generator as advised my Mark and Aletta.

You don't happen to know if there is any conflict is using both do you? Or if Google XML can do the same thing? Or do I need both?

Again, very grateful for your advice!

You actually use both.

Really simple provides the visitor a visual picture of the content available on your site when they view the sitemap in page form, and the Google XML sitemap is for google to be able to crawl your site for indexing.

As far as conflicts go I have never had a problem.

Hope this helps
