Capture email address off Etsy.com checkout page?

Does anyone sell on Etsy dot com?

My question is whether I will be able to capture the email addresses of my costumers during the check out process.

 Hi JC,

I do not sell on Etsy but I do not think you can include a link or sort of a redirect to the checkout page since you have no/little control of the page. However, you may include a link to your About Us page instead.

Are you able to contact your customers to have sales and what not? What are the fees? How well do you do?

 If you are referring to the autoresponder, yes I have been sending out campaigns to my list but not every campaign is about selling something. I have newsletters that are pure information only. Sending out campaigns to your list builds trust and in the long run, this trust is used to convert your list to buyers or regular customers. Right now I am still experimenting with my landing pages and I am still in the stage of building my list. However, the open rate is looking good so far. The fees depend on the AR service and on how huge your list is. I am using Fluttermail, which costs $17 USD/month at the moment.
