Can I build the website on as a sub-domain?

Hi, I'm new to all this so I will ask you something about a website. Is it okay for me to use a website that will go like this http://www.name.wordpress, wix, weebly or whatever, till i see if that website is going to be successful and then buy a domain? I'm a student so I can't spend my money recklessly. Thank you.

Hi,

Yes that is just fine, although promoting affiliate products on a free WP site is not allowed. I suggest you host your website in Blogpost or Weebly instead.

Here is a good video post for you about promoting affiliate products without a website: https://www.affilorama.com/introduction ... -a-website

If you want a full featured online portal with many abilities and infinitesimal possibilities, you should go with a website. If you have a company, then too you must have a website combined with a blog. But make sure you know a good deal of coding before you jump in for making a website or shell out a little money and outsource the coding work. One thing which you should know that most popular blogging platform ‘WordPress’ can always be use as a Website, and you will get advantage of SEO and easy management.

My suggestion would be....

1. Go grab a cheap domain first... they're 88c here. Doesn't matter which TLD you choose (.xyz, .website, etc) because you will be able to change it later if you want - https://www.namecheap.com/promos/2016/crazy-88.aspx

2. Grab some very cheap hosting at hostgator.com (less than $4)
Edit: Right now, they're running an offer for hosting, $0.01 for the first month. http://www.hostgator.com/promo/penny-offer

3. Install WordPress (free)

4. Install a free theme from inside WordPress

5. Setup some free plugins inside WordPress (something to manage backups, like UpdraftPlus, and something for security like WordFence.... both free)

6. Start using it. And if you decide you love it, invest in a better domain, and switch it out with the 88c one. Lots of tutorials available on how to do this, or ask back here if you're stuck and I should be able to point you in the right direction.

7. (Optional) - Get yourself a YouTube account (free) and Facebook account (free)

You'll have a business for less than $5/mo. Then it's just a matter of what you choose to do with it :)

I don't want to come across as a "cop" but you should check the definition of "infinitesimal".

You can go with Weebly. It provides the better result for your website and business as well. You can build website including a blog, it also provides the top results.
