Hi everyone - I have a question about cloaking affiliate links. When your cloaking program (as I'm calling it), generates a shorter link for you, and this link is supposed to be secure, what is stopping someone from just revising that "secure" link to their own ? What makes it non changeable ? Is it really non changeable ?

It's not impossible; cloaked links can be changed or edited, but not without difficulty. Cloaking affiliate links make it difficult for hackers to get access to the original affiliate links, which is one reason why you need to cloak the links in the first place.

As far as I am aware of, there are no duplicates for cloaked links, even for free clocking tools like Google shortener or Bitly. So for example, if the shortened link is already used, the tool can no longer generate exactly the same link.
