Anyone using the Affilorama Premium Hosting Website Builder?

I have two questions, one general and one needing help.

I've been through many, many posts and it seems like there are not a lot of members using the website builder within Affilohost (premium members) and for that matter not a lot of people using Affilohost for hosting. Is there a reason for this? I find it quite user friendly (and I'm a dummy with the techie stuff).

Second question. My website is not published yet and I am working from the control panel. If I want to create anchor text on one page with a link to another page on my website (which is not live either), do I use the address in the "not live" page or do I have to publish the website first and then create a link to the "live" page.

Sorry, I have a third question whilst I am here. If one downloads images to any given webpage, how can one ensure that, when the webpage is live, that someone can click on it to see a larger image?

As I said I am no pro with the techie stuff, just learning as I go along. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
William

Hi William,

That would be because in the Affiloblueprint lessons, the recommended site builders are xsitepro and wordpress. In the Affiliate Blog Bootcamp we use wordpress

Affilorama Premium Hosting became available only in November 2009, shortly before the Premium 2010 launch, and there are members who had already purchased hosting elsewhere. However, many premium members
- have migrated their sites to Affilorama Premium Hosting
- are hosting new sites on it
- are in the process of migrating their sites

Yes.

You must upload the larger image to your server and create a link to it on the image on your webpage.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks Fara. You're quick and effectient! That then means that every large image will need its own web page, am I right?

Thanks again.

Hi William,

You don't put the large image on a webpage. Just upload it in JPG or GIF format to your hosting server. Its URL will then be something like
    http://yourwebsite.com/yourlargeimage.jpg
or
    http://yourwebsite.com/yourlargeimage.gif

If you upload it to a folder called images then the URL would be something like
    http://yourwebsite.com/images/yourlargeimage.jpg
or
    http://yourwebsite.com/images/yourlargeimage.gif
