Solo Ads Advice for Beginners

Hi guys, so I've followed the affilorama lesson on solo ads, and emailed a number of potential vendors, and I got a reply like this:

"To be honest, I'm not what I see in this for my business since this
will send my visitors to you so probably not the best marketing
partnership for me -sorry"

It's pretty hard to find solo ad vendors NOT in the IM niche. How do I respond to this as it is a pretty legit question?

Another point is in niches like relationship advice, the authority sites are either like the above-mentioned ones, or they are REALLY BIG - I got a quote for $6.5k for an email blast to 50k subscribers. Any other way to find solo ad vendors for marketers just starting out?

Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure sites like these are only for the IM/MMO niche. I'm looking for solo ads for other niches.

There is another online marketplace you might want to check out.

It is called Clickonomy and founded by Anik Singal and his student Ritoban.

It works pretty much like Clickbank but focused more on solo ads.

What is so special is that they will screen every solo ad seller trying to advertise their services and if those sellers don't deliver clicks as they promised to customers, Anik will not release the funds to them.

Go and check out at clickonomy.com

Hi Caseys,

Most of the solo ads are for IM niche but you may always ask the vendors if they also sell ads for relationship niche.

You can also try to inquire in Warrior Forum. There are a lot of vendors there as well.

Warrior Forum gives the same advice which is to contact webmasters. I have emailed over 80 webmasters in the same niche and clickbank vendors not in the same niche but with the same target audience. Nope, none interested.

I guess I have to look at other ways of building my list.
