How Do You Set Content MAX CPC?

I cant figure out how to set the max cpc bid for the content network
can one of my more adwords savy (affilo-family members) mind explaining please?

i see the Manage placements and bid button
but it is grayed out i cant click it.

 Hi Nates,
Have you got the option active to show on the content network?
Or, have you turned the content network off?
You need to choose the placements under the networks Tab to choose what sites your ads will show on.
Automatic placement or manual.

 i have the content network on-
i it set on automatic placements

all i want to do is be able to set the cpc for the content
i noticed the MAX CPC for the content network was set to auto

how do i change it to manual??

They are all relevant to your question and by reading them all you will have a better understanding of the content network.

You will need to set Manual Bidding up.
The CPC can be set for each ad placement or adgroup theme so just look at your ads and edit the CPC.
