Third-part Advertising Opp.

I just got an email request from some person to post some of their advertising banners on two of my affiliate sites. He wants to know how much I would charge him to do this.

I'm not sure I will since I don't want to redirect traffic over to his site, however I just wanted to see what other forum members, who may be posting third-part advertising on their affiliate sites, think I could charge. Also, for those of you who do have third-part advertising on your affiliate sites, are you guys using contract or legal agreements or just having them pay by the month to host their advertising?

Any info you guys would be willing to share would be helpful.

Thanks,
Jess

Hi Jess,

It's really up to you if you will grab this opportunity or not. You're right in that part of your traffic *might be* directed to these ads. If you are getting a lot of traffic on your site but not much sales, then getting companies and other individuals to advertise on your site is a good idea.

The link Anil referred you to will help give you an idea how much to charge for an ad on your site. Most of the time the ad fees depend on the amount of traffic you get on your site.

Hope that helps. Have a good day!
