 I thin it's quite easy to turn infographics into a marketing video. You just animate the infographic (normally just pan and zoom across the screen) and add a narration. A bit of animated textx, here and there, and you have an engaging marketing video in no time

 I agree that it has to be eye catching. I was advertising my own diet plan in China and decided to record a video of myself as an example. At first I made it like 5:40 min and in the room. It was not successful since there was no dynamic background, it was plain white wall and the video was long. I guess not many people even finished watching it till the end :D After couple of weeks I made a new video. It was 2:35 min and I recorder it in the park - i had birds singing in the background, trees moving. I found this video more engaging, a lot of people commented and maybe someone even bought the product because of it (I didn't have any statistics from video since it was a post in Wechat). Here is a quick tip from my own experience - make it short and eye catching.

Exactly what I am thinking. Though Infographics are also a great way of link building, they can't replace videos.
