How to promote affiliate links on social media

How can I promote my affiliate links or products on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

Should I just post them with some relevant content on something else?

Anybody knows about it, do let me know.

Posting to social media sites is simply sharing what you like your readers to read and yes, this includes your website content or sub-pages.

You can simply share the link to a page or post on your website and say something about it. Please take note that you are limited to a certain number of words only when posting on social media so try to get everything within this limit.

I recommend that you read this article on how to properly market your content to social media: http://www.imediaconnection.com/content ... singleview

You could post your affiliate links on Facebook or other social media platforms but that`s not all you need to do to have success.
The approach differs from niche to niche, but here are some general guidelines:

1. First of all, create different social accounts for all your products. You can`t sell two different products on the same social media account. Maybe if they belong to the same niche you could, but even that is not highly recommended.

2. Build strong communities around your social accounts. Post new and interesting things to attract your fans. Would you visit a Facebook page that only spams some ads from time to time?

3. Try creating paid campaigns in order to get targeted audience to your pages. Think carefully what your target audience is and target them with a smart ad, but this ad must be to attract them to your social media pages, don`t create an add for the product you are selling

affiliate-marketing-with-social-media

Affiliate marketing with social media is one of the fastest and most enjoyable ways to get started making money online.

When you find a quality affiliate product to promote you can sidestep the many hours of work involved in creating a compelling product and crafting a sales page that converts.

Simply send traffic to an offer as an affiliate and you get paid every time that traffic converts.

Although affiliate marketing is one of the easiest ways to get started if you just get an affiliate link and start hustling it around social media you will be missing out on plenty of sales, traffic, and good will with your audience that you could gain by taking a different approach and creating value first.

Facebook is trying to keep sales related posts out of the news feed so if you post an affiliate link directly to Facebook it will not preview properly.

Even on social media sites like Twitter you will get poor results if you don’t promote your affiliate link properly.

Here are 7 ideas to help you get more traffic from social media so you can create more value and make more money with affiliate marketing

Hello all

Just wanted to chime in quick about social media adds. Most people (like 90% of them) are online to be "social" and are not looking to buy or even look at something to buy so be sure to give your adds a lot of thought and make them VERY targeted so you get the best response from them.

You may also do well with more casual type sales(games, food, crafts). Things that are more "impulse" buys rather than "need" buys. Consider things like age, gender and likes carefully to help target your audience.

I advertise on Facebook for my offline business whenever things slow down and I get a great response because I've refined my audience to a very small group that gives me a great response.

Never Give Up!!!

Promoting affiliate links on social site may disable your accounts like Facebook.
Affiliate marketing is based on selling other's products to earn commission. All affiliates are doing the same mistakes at their starting and fails, the mistake is to find the free and cheap ways to promote their affiliate links, some found and just got only clicks instead of sales.
Why anyone buy your product?
you have to capture your buyers and always connect with them, the only way to capture real buyers is SOLO ADS (E-mail Marketing.
Join any auto-responding service if you have a valid list of buyers.
If any newbie don't have any list of any niche then they have to buys SOLO ads to promote their link and getting SALES.
If any one can earn $1 from internet then he must spend $0.1 to get back his first dollor.
HERE is a wisdom verb "there is noting FREE in the SELFISH World".

Nice idea, I didn;t know before that it's possible. I thought that first you need to post links from social medias to your website and then from there you spread the traffic via the affiliate programs.
So, is this risky to be banned for the affiliate links from the socilal medias?

Yes you may get banned in Facebook for promoting affiliate links. Thus, we always suggest that you have your own website so you can just share your website link on Facebook instead of sharing your affiliate links.

If you wanted to promote affiliate links on social media then you have to share your content with links on popular social media channels like facebook, twitter, Instagram etc.
You can also share your link in content with some relevant contents to your websites as well.

Well, if your shared things start with "Buy cheap XYZ", then you can forget clicks or sales.
Internet is an organic thing and you have to treat people as people.
With that in mind, think about how to entice them, how to make them interested in your posts, and they'll like/follow it.

Personally, I use an automated marketing software that my company developed, and leave all promotion to it, and focus on further development of my products or aff sales pages.
