How to effectively promote a video on YouTube

Hello,

It's been 5-6 months that I haven't come to this forum bur now I am back with new hope .

I am going to try you tube and other video sharing site, But the problem is that I am confused which type of pic should I use, what content should I post on my marketing video and how the content should be placed. I am going to use animoto for this purpose so it would be off 30 secs. So less time and more quality content to attract the customer.

Please help me out.
