Any experience with buying an email list?

Has anyone had experience with buying an email list to get started? I need one badly and I will have to wait a very long time it seems to build one up.Thanks

 Isn't buying an email list a bit dodgy? I mean, they are not people who have chosen to receive your emails.

Maybe you could ask someone who already has a list to send theirs an email promoting your site?

 Do not b uy an email list. ughhhh just don't. Use aweber if you want to create one.

 ewen chia have mention before, if you can steal other people traffic.

buying email list is = to throwing money into a black hole. You never going to see it again not even hear the sound of coin dropping onto the floor.

I have tried before during my early days in IM. Why do I try?
Because I want to prove it for myself.

You can go ahead to try if you really really dont believe...ha.

But use a non primary email account. As you will get banned by the email provider in......a few tries...
