One of the most important steps, and the place where I like to start, is to find out exactly what your niche is. Finding your niche allows you to understand who your target audience is and plan accordingly. A good way to understand your niche and target market is to find out more about your competitors.

Always Research like What is the current problem. Not ‘what is the perceived problem’, but really in-depth analysis of why the situation is, the way it is and why that needs to change.

Next comes ambition. What do a new situation look like?

This precedes knowing the customer, marketplace, resources, tactics or any selection of methodology.

For sure, it is important to find out exactly what is interesting for your audience. Sometimes it is useful to look through the content placed by th opiniop leaders and on the most popular and visited resources, dedicated to that spere.

So, the first step is to get basic understanding of the spere, the subject matter.

It depends of the situation. Good analyses of current situation in terms of strenghts, weaknesses, competitors is always a good start. Ask yourself some fundamental questions about your startup project like : “What i want to achive? What is my tarket group of people/companies? What is the current situation on the market? What im doing different than others? Where im better at? etc” . By doing this you can have some basic informations about your startup and the enviorment you are in. From this you can build your marketing strategy. Marketing strategy depents of the budget you have. Usually startups are lead by the “guerrilla marketing”, which is everything oposite of traditional marketing, and much more cheaper. You should read some articles about guerrilla on the internet or check some good books about it if you are not familiar with it.

Define your target group as good as possible. This will save you a lot of money in the end. Then you find where the target group best can be found and start looking at the different marketing channels available. After that it will be a matter of analyzing what will yield the most for your money and create the content in such way that you get profitable conversion rate.

What ever you do, you must have a very clear and specific goal. Dreams and visions are good. But make a very specific goal of what you want to achieve. E.g get 1.000 visitors.

If you manage to be specific you will find it far easier to see what has to be done, and hence, create the strategy.

I think the main points in planning marketing are study your audience and the latest trends in your niche. You can't be successful applying idea that were effective a year ago.

Then, you should have proper tools? like Trello for planning and AdsBridge for tracking success of your advertising campaigns.

To my mind, besides everything else you should also be armed with a stable software. It is common, that good marketing always involves advertisement and mailing, and actually I've been using Atompark's mailer and I am not disappointed. If you want to have a look at it, you can do it *moderator removed link*. Good luck!

It is easy to look for your target audience online as there are tools that you can use to find them. You can use tools like Google Trends and keyword research tools like Affilotools. You use keyword tools to know what your target audience look for online within your niche. Once you have those data, you create your content around these keywords so you can attract your target audience. It is true that content is king since traffic and conversion will depend on the quality of your content.

The first step in planning a market strategy in my opinion is to identify your niche and target audience. By monitoring your competitors and what they do, you are able to set a basis for your strategy. Once you know this kind of information, you'll customize your content and strategy to fit within the needs of your demographic

The first step ever for any business idea is niche identification. You can't go into getting a marketing strategy before knowing what exactly you intend to market. Your niche can be determined by what you enjoy doing and you can also do a market research to see what can do well

First, identify your niche and your target audience. That way, you'd be able to come up with a marketing strategy that is relevant to your demographic and also to know what can work best for you. Having a clear and very specific goal makes it much easier to form a marketing strategy towards achieving it

The first step of developing a strategic marketing plan is defining the business mission and objectives. To market effectively, you have to come up with both a marketing strategy and a marketing plan.

The first and right step is to SET your marketing goals. Once you’ve decided to market your practice, you need to set realistic and measurable goals to achieve over the next 18 to 24 months. This time span allows you to plan activities around community events that are in line with your marketing goals

And the second step is to conduct a marketing audit. A marketing audit is a review of all marketing activities that have occurred in your practice over the past three years. Be as thorough as possible, making sure to review every announcement, advertisement, phonebook ad, open house, brochure and seminar and evaluate whether it was successful.

Firstly, as I see, you should know your business!
You needed to do this exact same thing when working on your business plan, so this first step shouldn’t be too difficult. After all, nobody knows your business quite like you do. You can make SWOT analysis—which details your strengths and weaknesses, as well as any opportunities for growth, and threats that could hinder that progress.
