Tell more information about bitcoin!

Hi guys! I'm thinking about cryptocurrencies, but honestly, I don't understand a damn thing about bitcoins. Can someone explain in a nutshell what it is and whether it's worth investing in this bitcoin for a normal person now?

 Hi. Bitcoin is, roughly speaking, a virtual currency that is independent of governments. As for the benefits, it's like the lottery: some people are lucky and some are in the minus. But forget it if you are not ready to play at your own risk! It is best to learn more about what is bitcoin

 Thanks for the info. It seems bitcoin is a real casino. I would like to know more about how to invest. Any other pitfalls to be aware of?
