For the last couple weeks I have been getting double my normal visits to my main site which is great but all the new visits are coming from Mexico. The thing that is odd about it is my site is only in english and most of the visitors I am getting from Mexico are staying for at least 5 minutes, Could there be that many people there who can speak english.

Hi Mark,
They may not be able to speak fluent English, but they may be able to read and understand English. There's also Google Translate. Are you able to see what page/site they are coming from? Maybe you have a link on a forum/site that is frequented by Mexican travelers.

cecille, unfortunately google anayltics doesn't tell me what page of my site they are landing on unless you know how to use it better then I do. I can see the keywords they are typing in and they are all in spanish.

Hi Mark,
That is odd. I think on Google Analytics, you can look at the Traffic Sources tab, then go to Referring Sites. I have not looked in the new Google Analytics Dashboard, but I am sure the revamped Google Analytics still has these features. The Referring Sites will show you sites that refer traffic to your site.

I will check it out but almost all these people are coming directly to one of my site pages through keyword searches and I have never been able to figure out how to see which of my site pages anyone lands on.

Apart from "it would be real handy to know" there is another major question: are they converting?

I wonder if they are coming from Google Images?

Hi,
You might also want to reverse engineer the most common searches and see where you are ranking for that, which page and why...
