You recommend Traffic Travis for market research. I already own SEO Elite and Micro Niche Finder. Wouldn't one of these programs work just as well as Traffic Travis? I'd rather not purchase another software program if I don't have to.

If you don't want to purchase any other tool, then you don't need to. Try google adwords keyword tool, google trends, or google sets, all FREE!!
I myself just use the above and spyfu, seodigger, and wordtracker, for my keyword & market research.

With google sets, you type in a few of your targeted keywords, and it comes up with more suggestions related to the terms you entered. I use it mainly for LSI phrases or other ideas for keywords, which perhaps I left out in previous research.
