How much time to do you spend building links daily?

As an affiliate marketer how much time to do you spend building links daily on your website? I spend about 30 minutes in 3 days for link building. Which are the best areas to post our links?

 It depends on the method as some require more time than others, like article submission and blog/forum commenting. I think you should really take the time to build links to your site daily. It's best to have a schedule like how much time you will spend in a day building links and what link building method you will be focusing on.

 We've recently started engaging in one-on-one communication with sites to build link love. We use BuzzStream.com to find other sites that are in our same niche. That way, we are connecting with other people who already have a shared interest. It is a bit time consuming, but has really paid off. We've only been doing it for the last two or three months but have gotten some really great leads.

Link building can be so frustrating exactly because it takes time. You don't see results right away. Not because you made 20 blog/forum comments today, means you will see 20 more backlinks added to your page.

I think that what we need to keep in mind is link building is not just to get backlinks, it's to get traffic to the site. To get traffic to the site, you need to make those comments and posts count. Promote your site well and you're sure to reap the rewards later on.
