Thoughts on selling products with "rebills"?

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to gather some thoughts on selling products that include monthly rebills?

I kind of feel like I'm kind of ripping off members of my email list if i sell them a product that is only $27 but includes a monthly $24 rebill.

Do you think doing this could harm my reputation? Are product rebills generally justified?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Mitchell,

Your subscribers will not complain if the product is worth paying for per month. You need to check your competitors and see how well you compete with others in terms of the price, features, and support. This will give you an idea if the product is worth the monthly price.

Hi Mitchell,

Only your readers/users can decide if that monthly rebill is worth it. If it's not, then they will cancel out with no effect to your earnings since they did purchase the main product. There won't be opportunity to make more, but there is still profit.

If it truly bothers you, you can create a review of the product and mention there the monthly rebill. Or, include a "disclaimer" along with the link to the affiliate product letting buyers know that there is a monthly rebill included.

All the best!
