Multiple Companies and Adsense Accounts for Websites

I'm going to ask this question again here because the last answer I saw from Mark Ling was in 2006 related to this question.

I'm going to have multiple SEO websites. Should I set up separate companies for each site? If I have multiple companies then legally, I can have an adsense account for each of those corporations. In the U.S. you can create "doing business as" company names that roll up to a single corporation. Is that advisable? How may adsense accounts should we have if you have disparate content for each of your different sites?

 I just saw another video with Mark giving a talk, and he mentioned having dozens (I think) of Clickbank accounts as well. I have the same question Mark.

Why the need for multiple Clickbank accounts and/or even multiple companies?

Would really appreciate even a little light on the subject.
