Clickbank Registration - Your account is under review

Does anyone try to register Clickbank and get this message? I have been trying to register 3 times but it seems nothing happened. I remember the registration used to be instant without being reviewed.

I'm sorry to hear that.

ClickBank registration is straightforward, and yes, almost automatic in that you get accepted right away.

Have you checked if your country is on ClickBank's list where their service is available?

I suggest you contact ClickBank support too.

Please let us know how you get on. All the best!

I suggest you wait for CB support feedback as they are the only ones who can check what the problem is with your account. Or you may also try to sign-up using a different IP address. Please also create a new email address using a different IP for registration.

Hi Marcus,

We contacted ClickBank and it appears they are more stringent in their affiliate sign up process as affiliates with a history of fraudulent transactions try to sign up using different names.

You can check again with ClickBank and ask them how you can register as an affiliate. Or, you can join other affiliate networks.

All the best!

I am not sure how they determine the history of affiliate although I used to have an old account but I cannot remember the nickname anymore. Is a dormant account considered a fraud too?

A dormant account is not considered fraudulent but the new fraud system they have in place checks against an affiliate's new record and any record stored in their database.

If they see any discrepancy, then the new account is flagged.

If you have a dormant account with them, then you might want to check with ClickBank if that is the reason for the "account review". If you want, maybe you can have that dormant account resurrected.

Hope that helps. All the best!

I'm sorry to hear that. How long ago have you sent the email?

There are other ways to contact ClickBank. You can try their live chat, or call them directly: https://www.clkbank.com/#!/#contactUs

Hope that helps. All the best!

You should also never try to register for an affiliate account with Clickbank using a proxy. You will automatically find your account flagged.

Hi all,
This Your “account is under review” seem to have become an epidemic.
I use wifi at public places such as coffee shops and public libraries.
A few friends and I (this people have never had anything to do with Clickbank or Internet Marketing, have all got the same message. It was from a public library.

Cboffers,
“You should also never try to register for an affiliate account with Clickbank using a proxy. You will automatically find your account flagged.”
Pardon my ignorance, but does 'proxy' mean public networks?

Maryt,
Have you any idea how I can get a different IP address?
“Please also create a new email address using a different IP for registration”
Do you mean using a new IP when signing up for the new email address?

Thank you for your time.

A proxy refers to a "masked" IP address. This is what you would use if you don't want your real IP address to appear on the sites you visit.

Public places tend to use proxies, or have dynamic IP addresses whereas offices or residential lines have static or dedicated IP.

Hope that helps. All the best!

Thank you, Cecille,

Sadly, all the research I've made on the internet (Just check Google for the "Clickbank + your account is under review" and see what you come by. Complaints have been posted on their own Facebook Page) and by having people who their details could never be in Clickbank's Database, who have never heard of IM, and some of them used completely new emails, renders the notions that ClickBank has become "more stringent in their affiliate sign up process as affiliates with a history of fraudulent transactions try to sign up using different names" and that "the new fraud system they have in place checks against an affiliate's new record and any record stored in their database" as utterly, totally and completely bogus.

I might point out that the “Your account is under review” comes right after only the Personal Information part is completed, so except for the email, their system has nothing to go by, and that when one gets that message, it is doomed, not being reviewed.

Don't even bother turning to their “customer support”. It seems to be issuing the same copy-paste response to everyone who does.

I couldn't help but smile, while watching all the 'techies' starting to come up with ways to bypass their system. There are already outube 'manuals' on the topic.

Serves them right!

If you find my description of the situation harsh, just do the same research I had done and test their "system" at your leisure.

Thanks again for replying so promptly.

No worries, William.

I appreciate your feedback, and have forwarded it to senior staff.

We can only go by the information ClickBank relayed to us at this point, but we will certainly let you know once we have an update.

All the best!

I tried to register using my real information about a month ago but up until now, I'm not yet receiving any emails regarding the process. I searched in forums for answers and some say that they are not entertaining applications from some countries(including the philippines)
I got bored and tried registering using a vpn and a different location overseas but still unsuccessful. After I click sign up, the screen just say "we cannot offer you an account this time." Someone Please help me with this matter.
Thank you

Hey guys I am from India and an affiliate of Clickbank since last eight years. Yesterday I tried to open a new account for my company but I was facing the same problem, also later on I changed few things and I got approved instantly. I even opened another account just for the sake of confirmation.

I would like to suggest a few things that you should try which may look a bit silly but it may get you approved:

1) Use google chrome instead of other browsers.

2) Use New Gmail account.

3) Try signing up from new ISP (New Internet connection)

4) Static IP also makes a difference as it adds more authenticity

If you still encounter the same problem and are not able to get approved, drop me a PM and I will be happy to help you out.

Hi guys,

How about
"
Thank you for your interest in ClickBank!
Unfortunately, we cannot offer you an account at this time. Regrettably, we are unable to make any exceptions.
"
And support replied, saying the registration cannot pass fraud detection or something similar.

I'm sorry to hear that. ClickBank has put a more stringent security system in place, making it extra challenging to create an account with them.

If you are unable to create an account now, then try registering with other affiliate networks first. Then, come back and try to register with ClickBank again.

All the best!
