Hey guys,
In my last couple of blog posts I started putting together a small interesting test project. However I regret to tell you that due to it coninciding with holiday season, my travels and other projects which I am more focussed on, I've had to put it on pause for a few weeks.
The good news is, I will be getting back on to that project shortly and show you all the results when they come in.
In the meantime, I wanted to fill you in on where I'm at with my travel adventures.
For those of you who aren't aware, my wife and I have been spending most of the last year living out of suitcases, travelling the world. It has been an amazing.
That's the great thing about an internet business, you can take it with you WHEREEVER you go.
We will be heading home for good in a month from now, but until then, we sure are making the most of it!
Right now we're in the good old USA (we're from New Zealand, so this is a long way from home!)
Here's what we've been up to these last few weeks...
A few days before Christmas we flew up to Niagara Falls (the Canadian side) to meet up with one of our affilorama members, Adrian. It was great to put a face to the name, he had such a lovely family too. We also enjoyed checking out the snow and of course the magnicent falls.
After that we flew down to Orlando and met up with a couple of our friends, Matt and Bex, from New Zealand who recently got married. We had so much fun there shopping and checking out Disneyworld and Seaworld. We also spent Christmas there.
Then we went on a Carribean Cruise for New Years! It was AMAZING.
It was the world's largest cruise ship, and it showed. It was brand new and had round the clock all-paid-in-advance formal meals, buffet meals, 4 swimming pools, bars, clubs, a casino, ice skating, shows, video games, mini golf, a surf rider and piles more. The best of all was the fun in the sun in the carribean, you can check out some of our photos below:
Since then we've been enjoying beach time in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, party time in New Orleans, and now we're in San Antonio to meet up with some other internet marketing friends of ours.
Well that's me lately.
What have YOU been up to?
If you want to share with me (and the world) how you spent your Christmas/New Years on my blog below, then I'd LOVE to hear it.
Best wishes for 2008,
Talk soon,
Mark

You guys look like you're having a BLAST! Good for you! You are a very long way from home aren't you? Good to see you here in our neck of the woods though :-)
We just spent the time over Christmas traveling to see family (which means we all hop in the mini-van and travel about 2 1/2 hours) which can seem like a lifetime with a 4-year-old and a dog - LOL!!! Thank goodness for built-in DVD players!!! Which I highly recommend by the way.
(See, now with all the tips you give US, there's one I can give you! Especially if you get one with wireless headsets so that you don't have to listen to "Cars" & Lightning McQueen for hours on end.).
NYE my husband and I decided to go to a concert here locally - it happened that one of his co-workers was in a band that only played every New Years Eve. The big deal about this band was that Corey Taylor of Slipknot/Stone Sour heads it up (he's from here locally) and as cool as that may sound to some people who read this, I had no idea who Corey Taylor was - I had heard of the band(s) but that's about it.
It was just nice to get out and away for some "us" time. Needless to say I felt kinda old ... but still had tons of fun since they had a Motley Crue cover band there who was a blast to watch (and FAR closer to my age - LOL!!!).
Ok so now everyone knows my music style - throw in a little Sade and Andrea Bocelli and you've got me down to a "t".
Needless to say after running around to see family and friends and having some "us" time, I was so glad to get back to work.
In fact, my husband even caught me checking my email on Christmas day!
I'm bound and determined to make this year "THE" year I finally break out and show myself what I'm really made of. I've already got some things in the pipeline ready to go over the next couple of weeks so I'm pretty excited about that.
Thanks for letting me share - even though I know it's probably more than you (or anyone else) wanted to hear about.
Glad to see you popping in and here's wishing you guys have a great time for the remainder of your trip and have a safe trip home!

Nice to hear from you. I know that you are enjoying your vacation out there with your wife. Is it true that you are off from New Zealand for a year before going back? Well, I wish you good time and enjoy.
Regards,
